Mid-week Chat Group

The Mid-week Chat Group will meet in the Parish Centre on Tuesday 29 September, from 12:30pm after Mass. Everyone is welcome to join in for a ‘cuppa’ and a chat.

Long Table Dinner

This year's long table dinner will be held on Saturday 3 October at 6:30pm in the Parish Centre. Tickets are available for $5 and a reminder to BYO drinks and glasses. Please RSVP to Anne Schiller via the Parish Office

Cardoner Network at Hawthorn Parish

Come along on Thursday 8 October at 7pm in the Parish Centre for a night with Cardoner Community Melbourne to discover how young adults are making a difference through volunteering in Australia and overseas with The Cardoner Network. Meet fellow parishioners, hear about the Cardoner Network, enjoy some music, reflection and connection. Everyone is welcome so why not come along, meet someone new and be inspired! Please feel free to invite children and grandchildren to this event as it will appeal to all ages and stages of life. Registration link is here; the event is free.

First Reconciliation

Registrations are now being taken for the parish 2026 First Reconciliation program (details here). Classes commence on 15 October, and the First Reconciliation ceremony will be held on 11 November. Please register early. Note - students at St. Joseph's school will be advised details by the school and do NOT need to register through the parish.

Tuition for Timor

We invite parishioners to support needy students at the Jesuit Mission School at Railaco, Timor Leste with a scholarship to cover tuition fees there for 12 months. Such a scholarship costs $150 and is tax deductible. Please contact Kevin Slattery

Immaculate Conception Church Altar Group

The Altar Group is keen to recruit parishioners with an opportunity to interact together whilst attending to the church’s cleaning, flowers, etc. If interested, please leave your contact details at the parish office for Anne McCoy.​​​
