Thank you! The response from you, our parishioners, has been amazing. Sally-Anne was amazed by the amount of goods donated. There was so much that, for the first time, it will require two car loads to transfer. So if you missed the deadline on Friday last, you have until next Thursday afternoon to drop your donation of staples into the Parish Centre.

St Mary of the Cross (MacKillop)
Mary MacKillop (1842-1909) founded the Institute of the Sisters of St. Joseph in Penola in 1866. Her feast day is 8 August. Her work, and that of the many Sisters since then, has contributed to the welfare of large numbers of people in Australia and
other countries – educating under privileged and isolated children in harsh times and caring for the sick and needy. The Beatification of Mary MacKillop took place in Sydney on 19 January 1995 and she was canonised in Rome on 17 October 2010.
