Des Dwyer is Parish Priest at Immaculate Conception Hawthorn.  Born in Warrnambool he was educated at Xavier College.  After leaving school he joined the Jesuits and was ordained in 1974.  He did post graduate studies in Spirituality at St Louis University USA (read more)

Remembrance Day

On Tuesday 11 November at 11:00am, we will pause to remember with gratitude all the men and women who have made the ultimate sacrifice.

Healing Liturgy

A Healing Liturgy will be celebrated at Immaculate Conception Church at midday on Friday 14 November, followed by lunch in the Parish Centre. All are welcome.

Christmas Cleaning Bee

As we approach the joyful celebration of Christmas, we invite you to help assist the Parish Altar group in preparing the church for Christmas. 
Join us in the church on Saturday 22 November 9.30 am - 11.30am. 
We would be grateful for any assistance as we will be polishing brass, cleaning candlesticks, dusting windowsills and statues, straightening pews and more! Bring along your favourite cleaning supplies otherwise they will be provided. Any assistance is greatly appreciated, and we would love to see you! There will be morning tea in the Parish Centre afterwards.

​​Annual Remembrance Mass

On Sunday 23 November at 11am, the Parish of the Immaculate Conception invites relatives who have lost a loved one in the last 12 months to be present at the annual ICC Remembrance Mass. We will be presenting the names of those who have died in the last year, and inviting those present to light a candle and place it before the altar.

Advent Prayer Group

The parish Advent prayer group, led by Donna Bosnjak, will be held on Mondays 24 November, 1, 8, 15 & 22 December, 7:30pm - 8:30pm, in the Parish Centre. All Welcome.

November Prayers for the Dead

If you would like to list the names of deceased family members and friends for commemoration during November, please fill in the form available at the church entrance. You may place a donation in the envelope, and place the envelope in the collection basket at Mass, or return it to the Parish office. Alternatively, you can send the names of those to be remembered via email to iccparishoffice@gmail.com
